What do you think of such system in Wild Terra?
Alignment systems basically help protect people from pointless pvp encounters, while still giving the freedom of FFA PVP. Murderor's would still be able to attack you at anytime, but they would have penalties that would make their life a bit harder then if they were of "good" alignment. One example of a typical penalty would be a "bad" alignment player could be killed by other players without suffering a "bad" alignment hit themself and will not be protected in any zone..
Alignment systems help keep the world a bit more realistic instead of everyone just running around attacking people, but still allowing players that want to be murderers that option. I feel battles should be meaningful and have a point. I also believe people who want to play murderous pk's should have that option, because it adds flavor to the world. It feels kind of silly when everyone you see immediatly attacks you.
The same system can also affect the attack and robbing of castles.
Of course there must be some motive to be good or bad :)
In the darkest times of humanity there had been rules
