I dont know if this is a big problem for a lot of people but when I double click sometimes it brings up the use or use/repair box and closes it again. As if the amount of time between clicks for a double click needs to be 1/4 of a second. Half a second and it selects and then unselects. I'm not sure if people would be outraged if you increased that time between clicks, because its always when stuff is falling apart when you want to double click and use something and its frustrating that all that happens is you keep bringing up/dismissing the use/repair menu. Putting things in your quick bar helps but you only have the 10 icons so sometimes I feel like i'm adjusting what's there based on what's in my inventory and what I'm doing on my current adventures.
Also it would be nice if corpses repelled bears and wolves. I realize that makes no sense but it is frustrating having to it and wait for 10 minutes for a bear to walk away from your corpse, walk back, sit on your corpse, patrol it a little, walk just out of range, walk back in range. I think it would make it especially less frustrating for new users being jumped by bears and complaining on the chat that the bear wont leave their corpse alone. Heaven forbid you die before getting your stuff off your old corpse.
Normally I dont post stuff like this but I had an especially frustrating encounter. Walking north-south on a map and the screen seems especially short in the north-south dimensions, Attract a bear before noticing he's there. He gets one hit off on me, crits, 8 hp left. I'm running away on horseback since he's still chasing me, go down to 3 and I have faith he'll either give up or i'll die of blood loss anyway. Dismount (since you cant do anything while mounted), and double click on bandage. Use menu comes up and gets dismissed. I frantically try to double click again and the same thing happens. Die of blood loss. Which I understand. I'm on the noob PVE server but its fair there is still some conflict, I wouldn't advocate removing bears or wolves. So I have to walk naked, unmounted back to my corpse (otherwise I'll have to come back for my horse) which is fair. I only have 40 hp with the lv 3 bed as it goes 20/30/40 and 50 i'm guessing instead of something like 20/40/60/100 but health is easy enough to get. Especially in my base. I make the long trek south to my corpse thinking "I'm super lucky, that bear turned away when I was at 3 hp so I should have no problem getting stuff off my corpse". Get to my body, bear is patrolling my corpse. Unfortunately every time he's on the perimeter of his Aggro AOE you cant just go to your body and "take all" really quick because there is no take all. Because you dont want one I'm guessing. I'm sure its been mentioned a thousand times like barley not being a vegetable, its a grain and eggs being meat not "other". Those make no sense but it means you have to push for rye to get grains and you have a very common "other" to find in the wilderness compared to the rarer mushrooms and honey. Which is why I think corpses should repel animals with aggro like wolves and bears. It doesn't make sense, like barley being a vegetable and eggs being an "other" but it will make people feel less like they're being punished for playing your game. And it would be nice that even if there is a full second between clicks that you would double click.
