Bellow i have some suggestion to upgrade player experience in the game, i do love this game, and i think we can bring somethings about our world to the game.
The new updates that im following im seeing alot content to end game, like castle sieges, vendors, building houses by blueprints, but i do want to see more global content, that can influence the new player that is starting and the late game players that will have to keep farming anyways
I rly do like go hunt for a long period of time and go back when im full of itens, so i hunt some deers (cuz im slow lvl), i use his meat to feed me and keep my vigor high and use it to heal me when i need... so far so good.
But im i get a bit upset when i have to use Ranged Weapons to Hunt Horses or Deers, kinda slow and boring this proccess, if you choice use bows you will use many more resources then what you trying to farm, and if you try to fight then with melee weapons, you will only successed if you but then thought the walls....
So my suggestions are:
1 - Traps Systems, when you can build different type of traps (wood, iron...), each trap has his amount of HP* that mob have to do certain amount of damage or certain number of hits to break it out, so when the monster walk thought the trap he will be stucked until he break it
Obs.: The Trap can be use 1 time only, or be like weapon system, you can construir and have Durability
2 - Charm Hunt Itens: Item to attract mobs, Foxes, Wolvers, Boars and Bears will fight you, so that is not a problema, but when he talking about animais that only run away, the Trap Sytem will be wait difficult to use (or even the Tame System), so could be nice try to reproduct the Hunt Season in real word, when you can use some thing to attract that type of mob to close to you (you can even use this item to increase the type of animal to respawn near you), so instead of you walk miles and miles trying to found the animal, you can stand still while using this item to increase the chance of he come at you (and be stucked by your well placed traps)
3 - Hunter Barracks (That one can be difficult), i think something about you 'second home' you can build a second (domain or just the special house, that you cant upgrade) near somewhere you think is a good spot to Hunt, so you can be safe there, rest a little while, produce materials which what you got from ur hunt, and after you done hunting you take ur itens to your main domain, im thinking about something understructble, or something way more resistent then you try to build something about side or domain (cuz one simple Bear Rush can destroy anything you build outsite your domain)
4 - Fishing: - This system have 2 parts
i love the lakes and seas that we have ingame, but just make me sad we can do nothing with it
Part 1 - You can make your fishing pool and try to catch fish near any lakes, you can make it like Age of Empires, when you can see some fishing pulling out the water to know there is has some species of fish (ofc you can make just 1 type of fish to start)
Part 2 - Build some kind of Fishing Farm, when you can contruct near water and use that space to auto fishing, its like same farm process, but instead of put seeds in the ground, you put baits in the water to auto fish to use, ofc can fail, can lose the bait, you can farm the bait hunting habbits, birds... and fish can add insteting new options to craft system
5 - Cart Load System - This system have 2 parts
Part 1 - You can build different kinds of Cart Loads to use as support of your inventory space, as you build it and try to walk with it you will lose move of your move speed, so you are trading you move speed to Farm(Not about only huting this one) to Capacity
Part 2 - You can use animals to pull the Cart Load, so you can use certain animals to do that (im thinking about the Horses, Deer, Boar) only Adult or above ones... each animal have you own speed and capacity to pull
Exemples: Deer pull Cart with 40 of capacity and have 60% of your movespeed (or flat), Hourses pull Cart with 60 and 80% of speed, Boar pull cart with 60 and 40% of speed... you can mix up the Capacity and Speed
Obs.: For me at least, the inventory seens small when you trying to farm, so i guess can be interesting you over time the farm, so you can go more farther as you farm, instead of always keeping close of you camp to get back and clean up ur inventory again... ofc taking longer makes you be more risk out there, but i can this can make the process of farm more interesting
SUGGESTIONS TO FUTURE
Those suggestions bellow can make a big change in the game and his concept, so you can analyze if worth or not
- Hunter Season:: We have plenty amount of different animals in the game, looks cool, but what about from time to time the Hunter Season changes, and with that influence the respawn of certain animals... Deer Season, more Deer Adult and Alpha will be respawned and etc...
- Day/Night: If somehow time counts could add something interesting like mobs be more stronger at night, or use it as count to other interesting thing that the game can receive (Like the sugestion above, you can use like 10 days/night to set a hunter season, or even the regular seasons)
Seasons: When i played this game was the Xmass of last year, and was nice see the map with ice arround, and im think, why use that as seasons (i rly get worried about the FPS that already low, so that can be a risk, but still i guess this improve the immersion while playing
