It was necessary to introduce some temporary profits for eating good food so that the chef would mean something. I would suggest adding a crafting focus for eating good multi-ingredient food. At present, it is enough to bake meat in a campfire, collect carrots, apples and eggs, and that's where the needs end.

the game should have an experience multiplier based on the food you eat, so advanced cooking would be more insteresting.
Devs already said Cooking system is not finished yet. Their idea is to get some buffs eating high cooking level food. If I remember well, they said we could get craft, construct and combat buffs. I GUESS attributes too, but I am not assure.
