I have wandered around for a few days and I love the concept of this game. I have a lot of fun exploring but I really have no reason to build anywhere but where I started building in my little safe zone. I assume eventually that sort of play will be discouraged because it's not very challenging and not very rewarding.
I was wondering if the dev team had considered some kind of 'resource dense' area that could move every so often, full of danger and rare materials. Something half the size of the war zone, something a few people could maybe defend and gather materials. I imagine the place would be under attack constantly by enemies, both NPC and player alike.
This sort of gameplay would highlight the idea of storming castles in groups, trying to fight over a nice reward. Something like a very large amount of Iron and other materials that you often have to search high and low for. It would be a risk that a few players might be willing to take.
It would have to move every so often because if it didn't, it would be highly unfair after a few players managed to get situated and could defend it and end up with a huge advantage. I was thinking if it moved daily, it wouldn't be worth the effort to spend a lot of time and resources on a large castle.
