Will the option to move structures like fences, etc., ever be implemented? Possibly at the cost of additional resources and skill check? For example, in real life if I were to move my shed to a different location, I might ruin a wall, part of the roof, or maybe the entire structure, based on my skill level. so I would need an extra piece of lumber or whatever material the shed was made out of, possibly more based on how bad I messed it up. Even if I didnt ruin anything in the move, I would still need new fasteners (nails, screws, etc.). So it makes sense that there should be an option to move structures in game with a "cost" related to skill level. Is this possible or is there a system already being worked on so that we can relocate in game structures?

Also, I noticed with certain crafted items that there is a disassemble option which gives some resources back when it is destroyed,( ie: Fur cap). It would be nice if we could get the option for structures as well, or maybe an option to store what we have built like sections of wood fence, shelter walls, etc.

Keep up the good work! Great game so far!

    FINAL UPDATE:

I can confirm that the Roost is now working. With (2) hens grouped and either Barley or Rye, I am producing approximately 30 eggs and 5 bird droppings per cycle.

    @Pinochle

I do not think that having more characters would be a problem. It may actually open up some interesting game play. For example, you may be able to create your own "Town" where each character specializes in something, etc.

Other than that, I hope you have more than 24 hours in a day and 3 coffee pots! hahahaha

    Cheers!

Put your horse in the stables and then try. odd that it will not let you summon and simply put the horse back in inventory. To be honest, I have never tried carrying multiple mounts though.

EDIT: I just tried using multiple mounts and I get a warning message saying I cant summon a different mount while I have an active one. So this being the case, putting your active horse mount in the stables will allow you to use one of your others. When you want to change, rinse and repeat.

When putting your mount in the stables, make sure you are on your mount when you click on the stables. Inside there will be a button to click that will allow you to store your current mount. When you want to retrieve a mount, just go inside the stables and drag the mount to inventory...Hope this helps.

There are servers for every level of play....if one is too hard or demanding on you or someone else, try one of the others and brush up on your skills before attempting harder servers. It says in the description what to expect and plan for on each server.

First off, I play on multiple servers, but lately, I have been spending a lot of time on Tepium to help the new players.

As of late, there has been a problem with people cutting down everyone's apple trees and just leaving the spoils. This told me that it was being done out of spite, and not by a new player that didn't know any better. Entire forests, cut and the resources left to disappear. Even in forests with a single apple tree, I noticed that it would be the only one cut down and nothing taken (hence how I knew it was an apple tree). Then I became the victim...not once...not twice...but 3 times. 30+ Apple trees cut down each time. I spoke about it in chat, and the problem persisted, and it actually became worse. Many on the server have had enough, and many of the new players I spoke with were/are starting to get discouraged by seeing all of their hard work be taken away in an instant with no recourse.

So I took the matter into my own hands...

Since we cant kill/loot other players on this server (Tepium), I did the next best thing...I went and found a couple Ferocious Bears and a Wolf, and led them to my Dominium.

Needless to say, besides the corpse or two that I find daily next to a chopped tree (And yes, that means I know who you are now and I know where you live on the server. You don't want me to bring a few predator friends to your front door do you?), my trees are staying mostly intact... ;)

Sure I have to be careful when entering/leaving my Dominium, but it's well worth it! Now if only we could loot the corpses! (Evil Laugh)

Yes, outside our dominiums to offer apples to other players as well as ourselves in case we are out traveling and are starving. We do this on the Legacy and new servers also...well a lot of us do. . Another reason we do this (Plant trees outside our dominiums, is because it brings all types of flora and fauna closer to our dominiums so that we do not have to walk as far, nor do other players. A living Terra, is a better Terra for all. Because of experience on other servers, it is always wise to plant apple trees inside your dominium for emergency food and saplings/bark as well. In the end, its all about working together for a better and easier gaming experience. The game is hard enough without players taking away a valuable food source and a place for flora and fauna to be located.

Finally, there is no reason to cut down apple trees because all other types offer more resources. Better to leave them alive for food, decoration, etc.

@LawBR yes you hit it on the head as i stated in my original post...I do not want to tank. In light armor I should be fast and a Dodging fool, but instead get hit 5/6 times a predator even looks in my direction. here is an example from last night:

Went out to gather iron and decided to kill a couple boars on the way. I found 2 at level 20. I took one in my bronze armor which i am skilled at level 10(decided to start skilling heavy), and my armor is green quality or lower. I absorbed 6 out of 8 hits for no damage and blocked the other 2 with shield. I used normal attacks and killed it. Next boar I switched to my blue quality Hardened leather armor, skilled at level 30. I dodged 3 times and was hit the rest. Still killed the boar, but can you see the difference?

Anyway, I am just going to start utilizing both and problem solved. Also, as stated in another post currently ongoing from another player, the light armor issue is a PvE server issue, not a PvP server issue.
