For me, the timbered carpentry premade gave 4%, the half-timbered smithy gave 5%.
From other discussions, I have heard that only the premades give bonuses, it's all in the flooring. I have also heard (heard = not verified by me) that the bonus can be 7% 'somehow' if highest structure is built in a premade castle?

No idea if this has been adjusted or altered depending on the type of server I am on. I play on Tepium.

These unmined areas. I am thinking it is time to put on my second best suit of armor, travel light, and make a waypoint to a castle unknown to me. I might be more than 30 minutes away in case of death, so nothing I would not fear losing is with me.

So far, every disputed land has a castle, and one of those castles is surrounded by nodes and nodes of iron!

Talk about a real treasure hunt!

I have made a few posts on this subject, but I think the current problem is magnified by the server not only being a 'new to game' model, but also a choking point of players at the same levels of progress.

New players do not fear being killed in the disputed lands, because they cannot be. (this is a lie, we just don't have any griefers draging level 63 bears onto the new players, not that I am suggesting this. I really like the players being decent beings)

There is a 'near gap' in leveling mining at the end of coal, and the beginning of iron. While only getting 14 exp from coal, they can take a 40% chance of success to get a single piece of iron ore for big time exp. The server being relatively new, I suspect we have a lot of characters wasting the iron nodes to get mining experience. I know I did.

The good news, is that as players progress in mining and blacksmithing, we can easily get 20-30 ore per node with level 36 mining and a blue quality iron pick.

I play 10-12 hours a day (no comment) and while I used to mine for 8 hours a day, now it is down to about 2 hours a day.

I have waited a few days to make my decision, but I like the new system. I was spending a lot of time with pet management, getting in my way in my crowded dominion, or just taking time to lock him outside. No problems of that kind anymore. So, I like am a 'thumbs up' on the change.

The description of the buff states I can use it to run away, but the actual buff says it is target only. So far, I have not figured out how to use the buff to escape otherwise certain death, without a target. Maybe if there is a little bunny near by I can race to him?

Try wearing light armor, and ZERO heavy armor, not even a shield. Makes a big difference for other actions.

The tiniest, even level 5, fox drops a large hide when skinned. Same with the level 9 deer, just shoot with bow and follow as deer never get aggressive.

Did not even realize what I was doing, I use WASD to move, and click double click with mouse in front of the direction I am moving, to run.
